An isolation capsule to relieve people’s stress

ri-pause; stand for Rest In Pause. A campaign that includes a website, video, and 3D product design.
This project is psychologically and philosophically based, and it intends to highlight the importance of self-awareness in this generation, where there are constant updates and a wide spread of information.
It is a one-minute meditation that everyone can do if they have time. It also mainly explores cyberpsychology and positive psychology, employing Heidegger’s Terminology, “Being towards Death.”
This project aims to encourage people who have received negative feelings through social media to focus on the present moment, to experience it, and to create self-awareness behaviour. Escaping from reality for a while is not irresponsible but an act of self-protection and self-love. We don’t have to be physically dead to be unattached to all the things that make us suffer.
On the other hand, in our daily lives, we tend to see death as negative, but “Being towards Death” is a strength-based theory. Death, in Heidegger’s sense, is not the termination of life. Understanding more about mortality is related to our sense of self (Dolan, 2022). Death is unpredictable and “impending,” which helps people understand that life is a finite and unique individual existence. Being grateful for life is another positive impact when reflecting on death.
